The SDF Commander-In-Chief Offers Condolences On The Death Of Sheikh Hamidi Daham Al-Jarba

Our SDF Commander-in-Chief Mazloum Abdi and his accompanying delegation offered condolences to the family of the deceased Sheikh Hamidi Daham al-Jarba and to all the notables of the Shammar tribe.

The delegation also included Nowruz Ahmed and a number of other SDF commanders.

Sheikh Mana’a bin Hamidi Daham, son of the late Hamidi and his successor in leading Shammar tribe in Syria, welcomed the commander-in-chief and the accompanying delegation, and he said in a speech that they will continue to work within the ranks of the Syrian Democratic Forces, stressing that they will enhance their engagement within its ranks.

The SDF commander-in-chief Mazloum Abdi confirmed that the al-Sanadeed forces of Shammer tribe have been playing a significant role among the ranks of the SDF, stressing that the cooperation between the two sides was even before the announcement of the SDF, noting that Sheikh Bender, the commander of the al-Sanadeed forces, was the one who recited the statement of announcing the establishment of the SDF.

Abdi noted that they work as one family, recalling the late Hamidi in maintaining social cohesion, pointing out that his successor Sheikh Mana’a will follow in the steps of his father to unite ranks and maintain security and stability in the region.
