The joint forces participating in Operation Retaliation for Raqqa Martyrs continue the sweep operation for the seventh day.
Over the past two days, the joint forces uncovered an old weapons cache used by ISIS when it was controlling the area, arrested 8 ISIS terrorists, including two senior leaders, and confiscated several documents and booklets on extremism ideology.
The joint forces are completing sweep and inspection operations in Raqqa and Tabqa, according to the Operation plan that aims at destroying the terrorists’ hideouts, thwarting their schemes, and ensuring lasting stability in regions of NE Syria.
