Our SDF Anti-Terrorism Units (YAT), along with the Counter-Terrorism Group (CTG) of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq and the International Coalition forces, conducted a security operation targeting an active ISIS terrorist cell in the town of al-Suar, Deir Ezzor eastern countryside.
The operation resulted in arresting two terrorists, who were responsible for the killings and assassinations against military forces and the region’s dignitaries, in addition to smuggling the terrorist operatives.
Several weapons, ammunition, and communication devices were also confiscated during the operation.
