As part of our joint mission and efforts to defeat ISIS and ensure security and stability in NE Syria and in order to enhance the joint combat capacity, our SDF forces along with the International Coalition against ISIS have conducted military maneuvers in the border village of Taqil Baqil in Derik district near the tri-border between Syria, Iraq, and Turkey.
The maneuvers used the live ammunition of heavy and medium weapons and training on reconnaissance and tracking down the sleeper cells preventing them from threatening the residents.
It is worth mentioning that It is the first military maneuvers conducted maneuvers in the mentioned areas, but they are the third ones in NE Syria this year, where the last maneuvers took place in the Deir Ezzor area.
